Lioba, originally from Cologne/Germany, is addicted to living abroad. She spent time in China, Kenya and New York City. But finally she decided to settle down in her home country for a while. The tours are more than just a job to her: the history of Berlin and Germany have so many lessons in store that are still valid today, not just for Germany but for the world. She considers it to be important to keep the memory alive, tell people and educate them about it. And as a history geek, she loves having an audience for her historical fun facts. When she is not guiding people from all over the world through Berlin, she is a singer/actress. Since she studied in New York, it was hard to find a city that offers the same great international, metropolitan vibe. She loves about Berlin that you meet so many people from different backgrounds; the city as Europe’s melting pot. Museums, concert halls, theaters and dance events are where you will find her in her free time. Berlin always has something to offer for the people who are hungry for culture, art, music and history, and that is exactly why she loves being in this city with that long tradition and past.
Rosalee has been a batty Brit-Berliner since 2012, and is looking for a legal loophole that will let her marry the Hauptstadt. For the time being she's having multiple passionate love affairs with the city's cooky little cafés, bars, theatres, galleries, cinemas, clubs, open spaces and secluded corners. Her friends are always mildly surprised that she covers so much ground, seeing as her legs are quite a bit shorter than your average human being's. Until she manages to be leading 24-hour Next City tours around Berlin, she writes texts about Berlin life and translates texts on grown-up topics. And she drinks about a litre of tea a day.
